Noumic
A Biofeedback Device
Noumic is a biofeedback device designed to be easy to use, pocket size
and portable, and with a variety of applications. Unlike other
biofeedback devices, the Noumic Device performs analysis and comparisons
of the data it receives and indicates the result very simply. As Noumic
is an advanced biofeedback device it accurately monitors a huge amount
of data, in real-time, using high-technology electronic circuitry and
specially designed software. It is a biofeedback device for the 21st
century.
Some biofeedback devices are cumbersome to use, difficult to hold,
produce confusing and distracting signals, and interfere with the
process for which they were designed. Noumic is a biofeedback device
that is handheld and it has been developed to minimise the impact it has
on the user.
Biofeedback devices can be used for learning to relax the mind,
for de-stressing, and for learning other psychological abilities, such
as meditation. A biofeedback device can be used for learning to relax
the body, for reducing tension, and for learning to improve the body’s
performance and efficiency.
Biofeedback is a concept where you monitor aspect of your body’s
physiology and a device indicates these aspects to you. Generally, a
biofeedback device monitors an aspect of body physiology that is unknown
to the user; such as, heart rate, body temperature, and subtle movement.
These ‘aspects’ are influenced by one’s physiological and psychological
activity, for example, the heart rate increases with physical activity
or psychological stress. Noumic is a biofeedback device that monitors
two important biofeedback indicators, that is, electrical conductivity
and muscular tension in the fingers.

The new biofeedback device creation
The Noumic biofeedback device creation process has taken 10
years. The new concept of a biofeedback device suitable for meditation
was formulated in 1998, prototype circuit boards were first on show at
the 1999 International Inventions Exhibition at Earls Court. Development
was continued by India based Mansi Electronics with a range of
prototypes created during 2006-2008. The development phase was finalised
and the first batch of 1000 was created in 2009. Currently,
Noumic biofeedback devices are only available from this website directly
from the Noumic Device inventor, Mr Perry J Rabbitts.
Other biofeedback devices are more costly, difficult to use and
have limited uses. Mr Rabbitts believes that Noumic is a biofeedback
device which is one of the smallest, most modern looking, user friendly
and versatile that is currently available.
In this website is a
