How Noumic Calculates Levels Achieved

When held, the Noumic Device takes a measurement of body energy flow six times per second and calculates whether you are becoming more relaxed, less relaxed, or unchanged.

When energy flow reduces Noumic adds 1 point to its memory.
When energy flow increases Noumic deducts 1 point from its memory.
When there is no change Noumic adds 2 points to its memory.

When Noumic's memory reaches a certain number of points the level achieved indicator occurs and the memory is reset to zero points.

You are Rewarded More for Periods of No-change

With Noumic Devices you are rewarded for periods where there is no-change in your body energy flow; you get two points. Noumic was designed as a relaxation and meditation tool and it is known that periods of no-change in energy flow are good indicator of success.
